> GET TO KNOW YOUR COACHES SPIRIT NIGHT, WEDNESDAY (JUNE 1ST 5PM @ CHEEKY'S AT THE COLLECTION:

Sorry for the late notice but there were major delays in receiving information - we literally got the official confirmation from the restaurant just a while ago. Arrive around 4:30 to Cheeky's. They will be holding the outdoor patio area for us. We will officially start at 5p but just arrive when you can. Cheeky's shares part of the revenue with the team so this is a fantastic time for our group, get to know the coaches, good food, fun time, and some fundraising.

>> Pictures are Thursday morning at the Longlake Pool. EVERYONE, ALL SWIMMERS FROM ALL AGE GROUPS, NEED TO ARRIVE AT 8AM TO LINEUP. Have swimmers wear their suits. After pictures we will run a short partial practice for everyone then have a meeting to talk about the first swim meet and be sure everyone is prepared.

>>> SWIM CAPS - they are in route, they have had delays and it's hit or miss if they will arrive for this week's meet - we are looking into options to circumvent the timing. We'll do our best to have them but if you have other swim caps be sure to dig them out and have them on standby. The darker the better but we won't be too picky due to the circumstances.

>>>> AND THE MAIN TOPIC, THIS WEEK'S MEET DETAILS:

• Meet is Thursday, June 2nd.
• Swimmers need to check in before 4:30pm at their bullpen canopy.
• Warm-ups for all swimmers but mini's will begin at 4:45.
• Mini Marlins should arrive by 4:45.
• The Mini's will swim at 5:15 followed shortly thereafter by Event 1.
• Setup Volunteers should arrive by 4.
• Bullpen Volunteers working 1st shift should be at their bullpens by 4:15.
• All other 1st shift volunteers should check in at our team area table by 4:45.
• 2nd shift volunteers can check in upon arrival so we can mark you as present and we will announce when the volunteer shift switch will occur.
• Cleanup volunteers can start the canopy take down and trash clean up near the end of the meet.

ADDITIONAL DIRECTIONS FROM THE LIGHTNING TEAM REP:

Once you turn into the main entrance of the neighborhood, our pool will be on the left at your first stop sign. Parking is not ideal at our pool. Our parking lot is very small. The parking lot will fill up quickly with parents/workers from our team that will be setting up. We will have parking signs throughout the neighborhood that will let your families know where they can/can't park. Generally, people will park on the road across from the clubhouse.

 Team Areas - Your bullpen/team areas will be on the grassy areas located outside the pool gate to the left of the pool, near the tennis courts. Just an FYI, we will have trashcans located in the areas where your bullpens will be. 

Concessions - Our concession stand will take Venmo or cash. We can't accept credit cards. We do offer Chick-fil-a, Papa Johns Pizza (Cheese and Pepperoni), Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Chips, and Candy. We also have a Kona Ice truck on property during the meet.
