Our First Home Swim Meet

Hello Marlin Families,

Good Morning - It's SWIM MEET DAY!

Just a few details for our meet today...

  • Meet is Today; Thursday, June 9th.
  • Swimmers need to check in at 3:45pm at their bullpen canopy.
  • Warm-ups for all swimmers but mini's will begin at 4:10.
  • Mini Marlins should arrive by 4:45.
  • The Mini's will swim at 5:15 followed shortly thereafter by Event 1.
  • Setup Volunteers should arrive by 3:15.
  • Bullpen Volunteers working 1st shift should be at their bullpens by 3:30.
  • All other 1st shift volunteers should check in at our team area table by 4:45.
  • 2nd shift volunteers can check in upon arrival so we can mark you as present and we will announce when the volunteer shift switch will occur.
  • Cleanup volunteers can start the canopy take down and trash clean up near the end of the meet.

We're home at our Longlake Pool!

If you're driving please refer to the attached map on where to park. There will also be signs for where to park. Please follow the directions for parking. 

  • Concessions for our home meet this week will include pizza from Mangia, Chick-fil-A sandwiches, chips, candy, and drinks!  We can accept credit cards thru Square or cash!

Additional Volunteer Info:

  • Before the meet there will always be a timer meeting - you need to be attentive for the announcement for that meeting.
  • If the Master recorder and Judges aren't part of that meeting then we will have a separate meeting for them as well.
  • We are short 17 volunteers, 4 of those are absolutely required to run the meet. We need everyone who has not signed up or those who have multiple kids and have only signed up for one shift to check in at the Volunteers table on the Clubhouse Balcony to be assigned to a needed position. We may have to shift some people around to cover the absolutely necessary positions - please be patient and adaptable so we can host a well run meet.
