Hello Marlin Families,

Good day - the day before our last 'regular season' swim meet before we head to Championships.

Details for our meet tomorrow...

• Meet is Tomorrow; Tuesday, June 28th.
• Swimmers need to check in at 3:45pm at their bullpen canopy.
• Warm-ups for all swimmers but mini's will begin at 4:10.
• Mini Marlins should arrive by 4:45.
• The Mini's will swim at 5:15 followed shortly thereafter by Event 1.
• Setup Volunteers should arrive by 3:20.
• Bullpen Volunteers working 1st shift should be at their bullpens by 3:30.
• All other 1st shift volunteers should check in at our team area table by 4:45.
• 2nd shift volunteers can check in upon arrival so we can mark you as present and we will announce when the volunteer shift switch will occur.
• Cleanup volunteers can start the canopy take down and trash clean up near the end of the meet.

We're home at our Longlake Pool!

If you're driving please refer to the attached map on where to park. There will also be signs for where to park. Please follow the directions for parking.

• Concessions for our home meet this week will include pizza, Chick-fil-A sandwiches, chips, candy, and drinks! We also have some remaining Longlake 15th Anniversary shirts and tanks which will be a great addition to your wardrobe, especially if you'll be at Georgia Tech on Friday - support the team with some spirit wear. We can accept credit cards thru Square or cash!
• THEME!: It's Hawaiin style - come in your Big Island style duds and don't forget to properly accessorize.

Additional Volunteer Info:

• Before the meet at approximately 5:05, there will be a timer meeting including place judges, master recorders, and runners - you need to be attentive for the announcement for that meeting.
• We are short 17 volunteers for the meet. We need everyone who has not signed up or those who have multiple kids and have only signed up for one shift to check in at the Volunteers table on the Clubhouse Balcony to be assigned to a needed position. We may have to shift some people around to cover the absolutely necessary positions - please be patient and adaptable so we can host a well run meet.

  • Marlinbration is Thursday starting at 10am at the Longlake Pool - we will have breakfast biscuits, drinks, play games and have our awards ceremony - bring the family (rsvp above please) 
  • For those going to the Championships at Georgia Tech on Friday - you will have mandatory practice at Longlake on Wednesday and Thursday morning from 8:30a to 10a. Everyone will be in same practice session.
